You need to post pic's of the underneath, floorboards/frame rails/trunk area etc. Cause if these areas are in good shape thats a hell of a deal! If I didn't have 2 projects and a newer Ram I'd be checking it out for sure. Post in on our sister website www.forbbodiesonly.com

Drain ,flush and check the thermostat. I'd be looking for some gasket material or sealer/permatex that loosened up . It may be hindering your flow .

I've tried a eddy 600,eddy750, and a 600 holley= same problem. I've tried a different dist. w/new cap and rotor= same problem. And I wish I had aluminum heads to try that remedy.

plugs are covered with soot in minutes. I'm on my 3rd set and the car has never been street driven.These plugs are 3 days old, but I've cleaned them 4 times.

I totally agree with this statement. Since I have tried 4 different carbs you would think one of them would let it idle smooth if nothing else was wrong.

According to the carb build sheet, the pump is 30. I'll check the vacuum in the morning.

72 primarys,67 secondarys. 6.5 power valve. I actually had this carb built to the exact specs of my engine.

Holley 3310 ,750 cfm.
