    Taillight questions

Last fall I noticed some water in the taillight of my 67 Dart. I pulled it apart and found where the water leaked past the gasket. I put a new gasket set in the taillights a few years ago. What is best to secure the gaskets to the housing? The tabs in the lens(where it screws to the...

    Top 5 worst A-body repairs/restoration jobs

Replacing power steering box, getting it out was bad, getting new one in, I would get it finagled around, didn't quite have enough oomph to get it up in place and hold it and get bolts started. Starter, have to finagle it around, then stand it on end and drop it out, but be sure to have your...

    Mopars Cruising At Night Pictures

A few years back, I would spend the night at the girlfriends following a cruise night, I would leave the Dart parked on the street( made for sleepless nights, with my baby out on the street in a college town). Leave about 5:30am for work, and just thought my Dart looked so cool parked in front...

    Rare, multi carb intakes

That's what I kind of thought that the small block Chrysler came around after the multi-multi carb setups.

    Rare, multi carb intakes

Just out of curiosity, I wondered if there were rare multi carb intakes for Chrysler engines, primarily small blocks. I have seen the 2 four barrels and 3 two barrels, but wondered bout the multiple (6-10) single barrel intakes or any other off or rare intakes.

    Water inside taillight

So what does everyone recommend for winter blinker fluid? Forgot how the brake lights come apart. Took it apart, going to let it dry and reseal it. I think I have the seal from the body seal kit I bought a few years back.

Hit a deer with my Dart what to check?

Ran over a deer with my dart this morning, it was already dead laying in the road. Doing around 70mph. Didn't see any body damage on dart, some flesh and blood on frame rail. What should I check underneath? Seemed to drive fine, but plan on having alignment checked. Thanks Aaron

    Anybody know Ford's, here?

Don't hate. I was asked to change power steering pump on girlfriends folks 66 Mustang, 289 v8. From my online research the car has an Eaton pump, their son in law ordered a replacement and the replacement is a Ford/Thompson pump. I don't know what will interchange on Ford's. From what I...

Any advice on what I need to know about country living/owning property?

If working on cars in the country either plan on buying all the parts to completely rebuild the assembly you are working on or plan to make multiple trips to get that part that you weren't planning on replacing but find it is bad once you get it torn apart. I live about 30 miles from the...

My wife accidentally ruined my childhood

In one house growing up we had a cistern with rats in it. We didn't use that water for cooking or drinking. Would fill a couple 5 gallon containers in town every couple days. This was back before bottled water. Never would have thought back then that people would pay for a bottle of water.

    1967 Dodge Dart GT Convertible

From what I understand the trim is anodized aluminum. To polish it you must remove the anodizing, then have it re-anodized after polishing or it will continually oxidize.

    Parade bench

I could stick a few screws up through the bottom, then decide based on their attitude if the get a cushion. Used it today and it worked great, had an adult and two kids on it. More comfortable for them and less worry for me. Thought about using this as a prototype, but will only use it maybe...

    Parade bench

Going to put some moving blankets on it. I used to haul dignitaries in parades quit often. Had one woman go off on me because I said I preferred she not sit on the back of the seat. Another time I hauled our state representative, he said he would just as well ride up front in the passenger seat.
