You will have to weld the panel at the lap joints, you can glue the pinch weld areas with no problems. What happens when gluing lap joints is the line will become visable over time no matter how much filler is used to cover your lap joint it will become visable, we ran into this at the shop...

The original trunk floor did`nt look to bad in the before photo ? not the case once you started poking around on it I guess? How did the repro trunk floor fit? I have heard they are a little short from front to rear an you need to stretch them a bit did you find this also?

Your best bet would be to take off the damaged fender an take it to a body shop to have the inner fender an core support straightened then you can install a good fender an door to get it back in shape.

The 71 stripe would`nt be to hard to do without a stencil I would`nt think. If you need some measurements let me know I can get them off of my 71 for you if you can`t come up with a stencil.
