Is the bushing in the 340 motor mount the same as the 318? The mounts are different I know, but need to know if the bushing is the same. Classic Industries has the new rubber mount bushings but only lists the 318 for the A body mount bushings. I am thinking they are the same as I know one side...

How many cans you think it would take to paint a set of 4 Rally wheels? They are getting sand blasted so I figure primer then the silver. At $25 a can I do not want to have a whole can or two left over.

Do I have to use the ECM and ballast resistor to use the original distributor?

I have the stock 1973 set up. The ECM is new, the ballast resistor is new, the distributor has been rebuilt and restored to the engine specs. I do have the original engine harness if I need the hook up to the ECM and ballast resistor.

I will have to clean that area up and get a better look at those numbers. They are not matching the 10,000 day calendar at all. The 0801 puts it at 1963 for the build date. That is obviously not correct. More to follow.

Full number is GM340 08018364. The last 2 numbers are questionable as it looks like the stamp may have skipped and they double stamped, if that makes sense.

All, I am looking for the correct spark plug wires for a 73 Dart Sport 340. I am pretty sure they are orange, but I have found orange wires with black straight boots and orange wires with orange angled boots. I also need the correct wire looms that mount to the valve covers. Any help on this...

Hey all What size was the line from the fuel pump to the Thermoquad from the factory? I have not ordered my pump yet and I am seeing 5/16 for 64-76 A body and 1/2 for 73-76 A body. If I have too I could go dig out the Thermoquad from the storage, but I am hoping someone on here just knows. Thanks.

So Inline tube is taking back the 3/8 and exchanging it for the 5/16. They sent me a FedEx return label and said if I order the 5/16 then they will only charge a 10% restocking fee as opposed to the normal 20%. It is worth it to me since it was my mistake ordering the 3/8 instead of the 5/16...

So the Carter pump I found turns out to be a 5/16 inlet and outlet. Anyone know of a 3/8 inlet and 5/16 outlet that looks like the original? If so, let me know please. Thanks.
