Looks like they may have been touched with a sandpaper roll real lightly around the guide and intake gasket matched. They look pretty good got them for a IMCA modified that isn't going to happen.

Stay with the RPM, The torque will help with the gear and converter, IF.... thats an if you gain any horsepower, it will not be worth the torque loss.

The Best Bang For the Buck is a 360. They can all run good, I've seen good running 318's, 340's, 360's and Ive seen " strokers "that are dogs.
