How long have you owned your A-Body??

That's a great question and I find the answer surprises me when realizing how long its been LOL. Rescued in 1997 > 2015 = 18 Years! The vast majority of that time was spent chasing/collecting parts, paint & body, etc. Tearing up the road 3 years now.

    emblem question for 71 Dart

It's DODGE and don't beleive there is a reproduction available for that particular emblem. It took some time to find a good used one on e-bay, but if patient they are out there. On the other hand; all the other emblems on the car are available through the various restoration sources.

    Damn Snakes

LOL! Last year while wiring up the Dart I had a harness laying on garage floor. Thought I was hallucinating (70's flash back or something) as the harness seemed to be moving a bit. Did a double take and a gardner/garter snake had come in the garage and was laid up next to the harness...

Have you actually ever BROKEN a torsion bar?

Did the same but in a 65 Dodge Dart. When it happens the suspension on the side that breaks drops like a rock to the stops.

    Oddball 1970 Dart GT Find....

I can recall in the 60's our family Dr. still making house calls and his car had a spot light on it for those late night address searches. Maybe a retired cop from the 50's who wasn't ready to put down the badge LOL....

    Musclecar guy from the 70s

Can relate....for me it was suburbs of Philadelphia. While muscle cars were abundant everywhere, the serious racing was in the city (Front Street, Delaware Ave, Passyunk Ave. etc.) Was not uncommon for full on race cars to be trailered in and if the money was right, off they'd come. Pretty...

    70 340 dart "survivor"

So mewnhile back to the question. Not quite sure why you went on that bizzare rant and quoted the traction bar question at the bottom. It had nothing to do with those picking you apart about defining a "survivor". But anyway, now that it's out of your system and you are hopefully feeling...

    70 340 dart "survivor"

How bout the traction bars? Are those custom made...didn't think they made any for Mopar leaf sprung of that style (replaces spring pad/shock mount). Usually only saw those on GM cars with the "Traction Action" logo.
