i am in need of a 7 blade clutch fan18"-19", don't need the clutch , just the fan but will take whatever i can get as long as its straight ..

Got my six pack up and running but have this extra vacuum pot to hook up , I looks like a sort of choke pull offf? But I'm not sure , anyone know if I should just hook it to manifold vacuum?

i have a lifter that bleeds down in my 91 roller block after a couple days of sitting , is it ok to replace just the lifters and leave the cam as is ??any special break in requird?

most cfm calculators call for less than a 650 cfm though.. which is a little misleading as most say a 750 will work well

bingo!!!!!!!! exactly what it was.. outer seal lip had somehow folded over and was creating little rubber shavings like the inside of a tire after you run it flat.. popped in a new seal, noise is gone, well now my p/s pump whines when it is hot but that's an easy fix... thanks for everyones input!

this is a 91 block and doesn't have the timming chain tensioner, sounds is exactly like a losse belt squeal, no ticks or any other noises, I tried recording the noise with my I phone but it really picks up los of background , maybe ill try again and post it

noise is defintaley a rubber noise, sounds like a loose belt and is 100% coming from the balancer or just behind it, balancer is not hitting or rubbing on anything, could it be the front seal? noise is gone when engine is cold , but after about 2 min if warmup it starts and gets louder as engine...

if it was built for a smallblock a 3000 stall will stall higher behind I big block

ran this thing today and listened with a stethoscope, the noise is loudest behind the balancer,a the timming cover area, if you listen at the top behind the water pump and at the bottom behind the balancer, it is defintaley loudest behind the balanver, what could be making noise there?

removed belts and noise is still there, sounds like front of motor,timing cover area, just figured being a roller lifter there would be bearings around the roller, wondering if the roller seized or something if it could make noise

wondering if the roller bearings are failing if they would sound like a bad p/s pump kinda whinning noise?

if a roller would be going bad on a stock 91 , 360 roller lifter what would it sound like?

yes , guy that had this engine ran it for 4 years the way it is, all I did was regasket it, never pulled cam or those bolts, just wonder why it is , that there is a noise now?should I seek out a bolt that has the hole in it and run that instead of the slinger?

now I did notice an oil defelctor that looks like it was home made to route drainback oil to the chain, but the chain looked good, looks like I have to go in and have a look again.. :mumum:, should I just order this bolt with a hole and use it instead?

did you check to make sure the rocker shaft oil holes are positioned correctly?

I resealed the 360 in my new project, runs well but has developed a noise, sounds like a noisey p/s pump, tonight I removed p/s belt , noise is still there, figured it has to be alt, removed that belt and noise is still there.really bumbed now, listend with a stethoscope, too hard to pinpoint...
