nice BB dart ...crappy rear frame rails..broken mount

Caps are welding good metal over old rotten metal. Not a good combo IMO. I've done a couple set of partial rail replacement's in B-Bodies (mid axle hump back), and would recommend you just cut the old garbage out and replace with new. As far as the complexity of the repair, it's not terribly...

[SOLD] A-body 4 Speed and Pedals

You'd be correct. 64-70 had the ball detent style (which this one is). 71-Up would have the interlock (raised casting line between detents) 1968 and on tranny's would have the raised machined pad for vehicle serial# and production date.

Parts I owe to people (mike440)

Any idea if this guy is over at FBBO under a different alias possibly? I can imagine he'll be looking for more victims across other Mopar boards, especially since he's banned here now.

    Champion Alum Radiators, anyone?

I have a 26" 3 row Champion radiator & factory 26" shroud cooling the 512 stroker in my Roadrunner. Still has the 22" opening. Car runs cool as a cucumber, in all conditions. Don't know on the fit up for an A-Body, but in a B-Body you need to use the factory mount holes on the driver side...

    Good angle grinder, corded...

We probably run 20-30 grinders at work at any given time. Dewalt & Milwaukee. Milwaukee's last about twice as long and have a touch more snort to them. Dewalt's work good, when they're working.

    512 build

I have the Indy Dual Plane intake on my 512, and no, it does not have the max wedge ports. That being said, Indy designed the intake to be able to be port matched to max wedge. There is plenty of extra meat to do so. The intake is about 1/4" shorter than the eddy performer rpm manifold. IMO...

340 .040 over pistons for Zero Deck...Where to find?

Thanks guys! Before your enlightenment, I was going off the standard train of thought of the all high compression pre '72 pistons always rise above the deck and the 1.74's from '72 up (low comp) are the ones that sit a tad below deck. My ignorant/simple line of thinking was I need to find the...

Hey Thanks Fella's....I appreciate your input. I guess i'll wait to see how she sits after the deck is squared away. I do appreciate the link for the pistons. I sure couldn't find any with that compression height. Still nothing for the 1.74's. Starting to wonder if anyone makes them. I'd like to...
