    Dual electric fans, FIRE!

I am running two relays 30a a piece the fans only pull 12.5 amps a piece so combined is 24/25a I figured if I ran a 30a inline fuse from the battery for each relay I should be ok.

    Dual electric fans, FIRE!

no i dont want to use a 60a fuse lol a 30 max. I am thinking I will spend the money to get the thermo switch, they arent that much I just hope that trying to wire them isnt this tough. Do most simply have a 12v hot and a ground? You dont have to do fancy relay with them as well do you?

    Dual electric fans, FIRE!

I am reading it , simple fact is that my car is not wired with a standard harness so it makes everything very different, if I was standard it would make it alot easier. So 67dart whats your thougts on that link. Using the toggle for simple ground and running hot to both posts on relay, does that...

Its not that I thought the vaccum was ok, it was that I just found that the vaccum was open, just didnt know if this was causing the problem, got a plug after work, sealed it in and same problem. Edelbrock Fireball!!!

Problem, I have the regulator and no gauge (getting one this weekend) not sure about a fuel return vent. It seems like it wants to fire up just wont quite get there. I dont want to flood it by pumping gas, but it seems like this is what its asking for. However I stuck my fingers down in the...

    Edelbrock Fireball!!!

ok, so I plug up the rear vacuum, get excited turn over and FFFRRRRTTTT nothing. Still white smoke puff from carb. Its almost like I see a sprits of fuel shoot out the carb as well its really wet. I have a fuel cell with a regulator and electric fuel pump and seems as if the fuel is flowing too...

    Edelbrock Fireball!!!

Called Edelbrock, MUST PLUG power brake vacuum if not in use. I figured but wanted to make sure this was the cause of the eyebrow burning flames shooting out of the carb. 1/4 NPT plug and the problem should go away, without it plug it is causing the carb to run way to lean and will cause this...

    Edelbrock Fireball!!!

It came with the engine and the guy swears it was new (looks new) , no manuel, I always try to read first then trouble shoot later, the only thing I can see on the edelbrock sight is that the carb comes with a plug if you do not use the power brake vacuum port. Doesnt give the "this is what...

I installed a new Edelbrock 4bbl carb and noticed that when I turn it over I get a huge fire ball out the top of the carb. At first I considered timing, after double checking I still get the fireball and a puff of white smoke, and engine wont idle, if I pump the gas I get loud back fires. Now I...

    Duster Cowl Hood??

Nice guys, so I think it looks tough on the duster, I see some of the scoops (aftermarket) and they dont look as good I think I am leaning towards the cowl. Maybe 4" to keep it modest lol but nice BMXJAX. Wish I could see a 75 with the point on the hood and a cowl.

    Duster Cowl Hood??

Anyone ever seen or even has a picture of a duster with a cowl hood? I have a late 75 duster and a company here in CA sells 4" to 6" fiberglass cowl hoods I was curious.
