I have three gold ones - two long ones and one left rear without ashtray hole. Right front has a small hole in the front corner.

I'll agree to that - I always check out the cars I buy personally - unless I have a really good friend in the area that is very knowledgeable about cars. The Spirit I looked at the same day was checked out first by one of those guys. He described it pretty well but I'll probably pass on it...

Yeah - it's kind of an oddball - it's a 70 service block and I think it has a cast crank in it. I planned on checking it out a little closer before I actually stuck everything in a car. I did a lot of goofy things when I was putting it together 20 years or so ago. #-o TRW stock replacement...

Yup, that 'Cuda is a potential 2 million dollar gold mine. :roll: After, of course, you swap out 90% of the sheet metal, install a Hemi, and fake up a few little tags and stamp a few numbers in the right places. :wink:

Thanks Rumblefish, you've given me a little assurance that this setup might work somehow. The engine's already together, though. The heads were shaved about .004 for flatness and hardened exhaust seats were installed. I used .020 steel shim gaskets - everybody wanted higher compression back...
