Good to know and thanks for the heads up, I will double check that its not sitting on the pad. I had made it so it JUST slids over, but I'm going to chek it again and adjust it if needed.

Here's what I fabricated. bracket slips under back side of dash leaving dash pad untouched. still need to covers wires though.

I have the arm rest plastic bases front and rear.

I did this, basically I swapped out my steering column for a non column shift steering column. I did put a new trans in so the linkage was not used..but you would delete that to and then i made a nice bracket for the floor shifter and bolted it down. Cut a hole for my Shifter cable and That's it.

Looking for a good used or new 30 spline spool for an 8 3/4.

if you have not done so already measure measure measure...as others have found out, be sure your 36 spline side is 3/4 and not 5/8. just a heads up.
