We are planning on going bigger but need to swap the front spindles due to the front still having the lame 5 on 4 bolt pattern. That being said 3.73 gears might be a good compromise? Also, would this be a night & day difference coming from 2.5x gears?

Ok, so the wife's swinger dart has a cardboard headliner (1972 car built in 71). Our headliner is old, still passable but she wants a better one. Does anyone sell one? And if not is there a parts list for a conversion to a cloth headliner with bows? Thanks for the help!

So either my sending unit died, my gauge died or the wiring between the two died. What's the proper trouble shoot procedure to figure out if I'm sopping the tank or wiring up an after market gauge into my existing gauge pod? 72 dart swinger 340/727 combo.

Well I have a full gear set chunk sitting in my garage from a 2.92 duster with a 8 1/4....

Reason being I have another 8 1/4 rear end but the only thing good about it is the gear set on the inside. The housing is way worse for wear....

Ok per SA Designs 'Chrysler Performance Upgrades'..... A 2.45 rear end has a special differential axel case..... Thus to upgrade gears I would need a new differential as well. That means I need another full rear end... Huh? I'm a GM guy and we just have to worry about ring and pinions and...

Well strangely it is now starting if I just blip the ignition to start. Not holding it to crank, just a flick of the wrist....

Would rigging the starter like a drag car with a toggle switch work?

Well it started BUT when cranking the coil isn't getting power. I have to catch it just right between start and run and then it kicks over....

Still won't start

And it would be the pins in the far left and upper right positions....

The blue wire at the firewall block was loose.

Coil is getting power... Still no start....

Ok on a 72 electronic ignition 5 wire/ dual ballast. If you check the volt reading on pins 1 and 3 of the pig tail using the top of the pentastar as 1 and going clockwise? I'm only getting 7 volts and the battery is good. (I'm not getting any power to my coil)
