    1960 to 1962 Valiant/Lancer Tailgate Photos

Could someone provide photos of the tailgate release rod? Mine is broken on the end and the other side is twisted. Not sure how a non damaged one should look like. I will need to fabricate a new one or do some creative welding. Photos are of the original rod that I removed.

    Parting out 1962 Plymouth Valiant

Hey Rah Rah. They are not the same. I just got off the internet and looked at some photos. The Lancer is a single blade arrow head and the valiant is a dual blade. The valiant will look like a "V" rotated 90 degrees and slide in to the upper and lower moldings.

Show us your vinyl top 2nd generation barracuda

I was hoping to see a white with black vinyl top. Lo and behold there it is. I am moving in that direction. Blue and a black top is another choice, but I have that already on my 69 SS Camino It was previously white with black top, but at the time I had so may white cars and wanted to do...

Show us your vinyl top 2nd generation barracuda

With vinyl tops, I am finding the notch's lines are accentuated with vinyl. The yellow and black are complimentary. Too bad some of my buddies are not into vinyl. Yours looks great!

Anyone here done this to someone?

In high school there was one kid who was a real jerk. Drove a VW bug. In those days there were the old metal galvanized trashcans located around the parking lot. A bunch of us guys got together, flipped the trash can upside down and placed the car on top of the trashcan. He got the point and...

    Hood Caulking Question?

Thanks Sedanman and S340 for your quick response. I like that the Lord product specifically states "hood panel to supports" in their cut sheet. Whereas 3M does not. Will move in that direction. Thanks again

    Hood Caulking Question?

Has anyone replaced the hood caulking between the hood brace and hood skin. The 1967 Barracuda body that I am restoring is in prep and the cauling has shrunk causing major tsunami waves. I contacted 3M concerning their NVH (Noise Vibration and Harshness) Dampening Material, but they would not...

    Stripe or not

Maintain the dark theme. Better if you could get the stripe to match the vinyl top color. If the hood is painted black even better with the black stripe. Could redo the top in black instead of the dark green or redo the top in white than a white stripe would look best. use colored paper and...

autoxcuda. Even got pics of your car. Thought I saw it in Santa Ana a while back. Picked up NOS tail pipe tips, LD4B intake, bell hosing, Hurst shifter handle and some other flotsam and jetsam to hang around the shop. You posted "Fall Fling XIX April 11 & 12, 2015" should that read "Spring...

Fall Fling XIX Oct 25th 2014 - Who's Going? and Photo Thread

Had a good time and bought quite a few parts. The show seemed to have less attendance in regards to cars as compared to last spring. However, spectator attendance is a lot higher. Noticing that parking gets filled fast outside of the show. Regardless, makes for nice day and the weather was...

Yes, replied like there was no tomorrow prior to mailing the PO Money Order and nothing after one response - from a follow up inquiry. "Check the mail" he said. Yeah right! Check the mail, make the deposit and slither away.

Does any body know demon joe

Yeap I got ripped $190.00 from 440magnum - posting was "1967 Barracuda headlight bezel. Driver side". Time to inquire 1st. Maybe the site could maintain a list of so called members who are scammers. A spreadsheet of some sort. Establish a network of folks who live in the proximity of these...

    Transmission Tunnel Photos

Ahhh! That last picture was what I was looking for. The brackets look to be located at the same points and the conversion should not pose any real problems. Little nip and cut here and there. Transmission Tunnel Photos

I guess I opened a can of worms. All I have for reference is the aftermarket manual transmission conversion panels. These 4 speed tunnel panels look like they set to the left of the tunnel and not the center. When I view the aftermarket photos the shifter is offset to the side and panels are...

Yes, I will be doing the items you outlined. The manual tunnel is a lot diffrent than the automatic and per your comment fitment is different from car to car.
