Its mainly weekend cruises and some drag racing every now and then. Gear ratio is 3.5. It performs good!! But not sure if it will be better with a different size carby?

I ended up getting a good set of crane gold 1.6.....the car is up and running again.

Sorry I've stuffed up there! Magnum is the Comp Cam brand not the style of engine lol. The 7.34 measurement, would that be from inside the cup or overall length?

Hi, just wondering if I can use the magnum pushrods in a LA SB? I'm running a solid roller and need a size 7.34 inch chromoly pushrod(ball & cup)that comp cams sell off the shelf but they suit a Magnum engine.

It was the cable! We put a new one in and now it shifts great. Only thing is the selector bracket doesn't suit the shifter so i just need to order the right one.

I've done around 200 miles on the box with no problems, yesterday was the first time I tried shifting it through the gears manually. I had to stop put it in park, put it in drive then the box shifts normally again. I got under the car and to see if its selecting gears and all seems normal.

I have a problem with the 904 auto in the valiant. I brought the box 2 years ago as a unknown and when we pulled it apart for a reco to drop behind the 340 it had a shift kit fitted and a few other mods done to it, we freshened up the box and dropped it in and everything seemed fine until i pull...
