    Barracuda Six-Pak Hood

Just my 2-cents. On my 68 Fastback with 340/6 Pak, the AAR six-pak hood/scoop looks just right, and blows a lot of air thru the engine compartment. Hemi scoops are for hemi's, why pretend?

Anyone use a California Car cover?

Have used their covers for years, also in the CA sun like OCD. They fit nice but should be tied underneath, from wind and theft. The grey one I have been using had a five year warrenty, started wearing out after four years in the sun and they sent me a new one when I produced my sales receipt...

    I was born too late..

OK, I was born in '45, grew up street racing from Whittier Blvd., to Downey to the Valley in So Cal. It was a time when a raised '55 chevy straight axle with mechanical injection was not even uncommon to see on the street. And on weekends we had at least four or five nearby drag strips to...

    Is Bigger Better?

Thanks, it sounds like the 22" aluminum 3-core is what your saying. Looking at an aluminum Mark 7 Radiator, a little pricey but I like the original-type look. These have duel 1.25-inch cores and they claim it will cool up to 750 hp? On a 100-degree day. I wonder. Ron

    six pack or hemi {scoop that is !!}

Since I went with the 6-pack scoop on my small block 6-brl. cuda I really like it. Put a hemi scoop on the hemi dart, that's the look. I think the name answers the question, hemi scoops over hemi motors.

    Is Bigger Better?

Ready to buy a radiator for my '68 hemi dart, about 620 hp. stick. It would just seem that a 26-inch would cool better than a 22-inch. If true, how dificult would it be to open up the core support to fit the 26-inch. Is this a common way to go? Or maybe get a 26-inch core support (say B...

    3.23 or 3.55?

My 2-cents. On my '68 Cuda 340 727, just changed over from 3.23's to 3.55's. I noticed very little diference driving around town. On the freeway at about 60 mph I'm revving about 500 rpm more. My opinion, keep the 3.23's if you do much highway driving.

    340 Duster running hot

Had the same problem in my '68 340-S. Put a shroud on it first. Next what kind of pump? Some work well on the street and others don't. Make sure the fuel matches the compression and timing is correct. I am now at 180 and that is with a 6-pack hood scoop.

Yes, I am looking for the large yoke with the fine (29) splines. How much do you want for it and payment method? Thx, Ron

    8.75 Pinion Flanges

Changing the diff. on my 8.75, old one has a larger pinion flange with the course splines, new one (replacement) flange is a fine thread with the smaller flange. Would like to keep the larger flange size and was wondering if anyone makes the larger flange with fine threads? Thx, Ron.

    Chrysler Closes....

Got to feel bad for the workers. But I wonder if it is a little greed to. They support their union bosses who won't budge on wages and benefits until 2011. Who will be left standing then? How good is your union rep if you don't have a job?
