[FOR SALE] 5.2 5.9 magnum EFI plug and play harnesses

I chose obd 1 for several reasons. One, its easy to run with any transmission. Two, they were plentiful and cheap (but 91-95 models are getting older now and harder to find). Three, I got my hands on a low mile 5.9 OBD 1 complete setup really cheap. Four, stock is plenty fine for me; not...

    92-95 magnum harnesses

Good to hear from you, Jeff. I left our old employer a while back after finishing school and started at a local hospital. Other than my Fury, I pretty much just tinker with the Mustang now. I'm sure I'll run into you sometime, if not the next Nat's. That Dart still needs a Magnum!:burnout:

    92-95 magnum harnesses

I can do either, but it's usually cheaper on you, due to shipping, to just get one directly from me. Currently, I just make them on an as-ordered basis. If you want one, just let me know. nice pics! Mopars and fox body Mustangs.....just like me

Magnum 5.9 with an 833 anybody running it?

you have to come up with some solution that gives you a 130 tooth flywheel with a 5.9 balance weight and has the magnum crank trigger slots in it.....and notch whatever bellhousing youre using to clear the crank trigger

    92-95 magnum harnesses

you'd likely have to have the computer reflashed. There are a few places you can find online that do that, I don't. the 90 was a throttle body injection, not a Magnum.

    92-95 magnum harnesses

I make harnesses to put 92-95 5.2 and 5.9 magnums into older vehicles. Ive had this setup on my 66 Fury for 3+ years now. I only do the 1992-95 setups. For more information, PM me. I make them on an as-ordered basis. Feel free to ask questions! Doug

[FOR SALE] 5.2 5.9 magnum EFI plug and play harnesses

yeah, youd have to make your own bracket to mount the CPS, but it could be done. Id go ahead and use the whole magnum engine as a personal choice, but some decent fab work could make it work.

I see no reason why it wouldnt work, providing you dont have crazy compression ratios

Picking the "right" 383 block? Different styles?

ive seen mid 60's c-body 383's with the front holes tapped already. Those should be cheap and able to be found still. I'm not one to care about matching numbers. an incorrect 383 is just as incorrect as a 400, but the 400 is cheaper, easier to find, and able to do more with it when building it...

[FOR SALE] 400 motor and 72 trans

$300 firm, takes it all. a 76 400 2 barrel motor, complete from carb to oil pan and fan to tailshaft, except the valve covers are missing.....i think I used them on my 440 duster years ago. it was from a 76 3.4 ton truck, so it has all the big block truck stuff on it such as motor mounts...

Picking the "right" 383 block? Different styles?

I put a 71 440 from a 71 polara in my 72 duster. i imagine any 383 will fit, but I think I do remember something about a machining mod that the factory did to the drivers side engine mount area on 383 cars.

The car that started it all?

watching Dukes of Hazard as a kid. had my first 69 Charger when i was 13. my only Mopar now is a 66 Fury VIP 2DHT my great aunt bought new in 66. It now has 5.9 EFI magnum, 518 OD, 3.55 8.25 posi disk brake rear, H4/H1 headlight rewiring with relays, 73 Fury front discs....... i pretty much...

    Ford 8.8 Swap

well said, 70440.... but there are snobs in every hobby, particularly cars 5.7 hemi, get your story straight before you open your mouth. Look it up, confer with E-berg, whatever it takes, the 8.75 NEVER came with discs. The rear disc Imperial you are thinking of had an 8.25. it's even...

    Ford 8.8 Swap

8.75 never came with discs, period. the imperial you are thinking of had an 8.25. the 8.75 can not be used with discs unless you change to the "green" ball bearing axle bearings. tons of info online about this. 28 vs 31 splines,as stated, is of no importance on a street car. rarely will you...

    Ford 8.8 Swap

41 is a 3.27 open, D1 is a 3.27 posi. the 3.27 is an oddball in the 95+ disc rears, but common in the boxy drum-braked 91-94 explorers. want discs and a 3.27? easy....just take the housing from a 3.27 91-94, and pull all the axles and brake stuff out of a 95 and put it in there. any junkyard...

    Ford 8.8 Swap

the simple fact is that there are more a-bodies on the road than there are 8.75's to put in them. given the choice, most people will automatically choose the 8.75 because its a true bolt in and its a proven strong part. it ends there though. most people have converted to big bolt pattern. the...

    Ford 8.8 Swap

i used to hate all things gm too. but with age and gaining some maturity, Ive realized that GM, Chrysler, Ford, AMC.....theyre all cars, they all had some great cars and a lot of shitty ones. They all had positives and negatives. It comes down to personal preference, and I am no longer one to...

[FOR SALE] 5.2 5.9 magnum EFI plug and play harnesses

depends on where your sending unit is located. on a Fury like mine, the sending unit is at the front of the tank and often submerged so I didnt want the wires going through there as I expected that would leak. that's why I did the hole and grommet at the top of the tank. I wounldnt call it...

[FOR SALE] 5.2 5.9 magnum EFI plug and play harnesses

I used an airtex E2044 on my Fury. Look on rockauto, the E2044 is just one of about a dozen brands they offer for a 90 Lincoln mark 7 LSC 5.0. you'll need to take your tank out. then pull the sending unit out. then cut off the 90degree bend where it goes into the factory sock/filter. join the...

[FOR SALE] 5.2 5.9 magnum EFI plug and play harnesses

the factory magnum flywheels, while they will bolt up to the crank, will not fit inside the older car bellhousings. magnums only came in trucks, so they used a larger diameter 143tooth flywheel, where the older cars used 10.5 130 tooth flywheels. the 143 wont fit inside the 130 bellhousing. this...
