I Just made my way to Houston TX about five weeks ago, I was curious how many mopar guys are out here? I'm just getting situated but eventually want to to make some mopar buddy's out here so we can get to wrenching or selling or trading some parts and better yet do some cruising around.

So my pic shows 2070-741. The 741 at the end means there 741 do 742 and 489 read the same? And do the 2070 # mean anything important?

What are my other options using 8 3/4.? Other than the 741?

This is great how far back did they start stamping the rings gears? 1960?

I didn't know it was that easy thanks but unfortunately this truck is jacked up on welded on to some old rim stands is there an alternative way to check? I know there limited slip I'm hoping there 3.55 or up. ( I wish they were posi but there not)

What’s the diff between Flat top (with two valve reliefs) and Dish (with a D-shaped cup) I'm looking at the kits and want to know when does the forged crank really come in handy? How many people have had the scat cast cranks break on them?

These kits consist of a Chrysler 400 blocks crank right? Why can’t I pull one off of a junk yard and build my own kit around that? I thought these cranks could take a beating.

In your experience or knowledge how much is the machine cost with stock rods vs the cost of I beams ?
