From your description on the block issues, the "diarhea" coolant etc... sounds like it could be a big part of your problem.

Thanks man... the wheels cost me $450 off of craigslist. Including the rubber!! They are Mustang wheels... I replaced the Cobra centre caps with the bullet style caps. I think they really look the part.

do silver paint... as recommended you can wipe any over spray off with lacquer thinner, it won't harm the chrome and its super easy!!

I did a 318 to 360 swap. Used Magnum-Style heads(by edelbrock) air-gap intake. Quick Fuel 650 carb(which is basically a Holly DBL pumper) My stock linkage did not work... I used Lokar..... Looks great works great!!

I put soapy-water into a spray bottle.... then I spray a little onto the sealer as I spread it with my finger. This helps it to spread evenly and not stick to my finger.

I might start by running a clear fuel filter, #1 you'd have a new clean filter #2 you could see if your fuel is clean. I'd probably start there.

I went with a 2900 stall with my 904. Very streetable. Based on info from my transmission guy, and guys here on FABO... modern torque converters are different than they were 15 yrs ago. You can go with a higher stall, and still find it mild-mannered enough for daily driving. My 2 cents

I went with the Eddy Magnum-style heads on my 1970 360... very happy with them. The price was quite reasonable i thought.

I had a gas tank recoated once, (rare car couldn't find a new tank) It held up fine.

I just welded my 318 motor-mount to make it work with my 360 block. I think i used a piece of steel-plate, ground it down into the desired shape, then welded it into place. That was 2 years ago... no problems.

That would be the asking price here in Vancouver B.C. Cars up here are way over priced. :sad7:
