    Kansas City cruise

Went to a recent cruise, open house for a new facility here that provides storage for high dollar classics and super cars. When I pulled up to the entrance the lot was filled with exotic cars, not one classic. I was ready to leave thinking nobody would want to look at an old mopar, boy was I...

    Cruising Kansas City

It has been a great year in KC for car shows and cruise nights. Most weekends there are multiple shows and cruises to choose from. My unrestored 1966 has won a few awards, and people love checking out an early A body mopar. Many folks have never seen one.

    Problems after suspension rebuild

I recently replaced upper A arm bushings, lower control bushings, upper and lower ball joints, and strut rod bushings. I had the car aligned at a shop, and now I have vibration at highway speed, and creaking noise when hitting bumps. I suspect the lower control arm and upper A arms were...

    What do I have

I have tried everything I know to do to get the brakes working on my 66 barracuda. The car is all original, 36K mile car, 273 v8, not a commando, with power brakes. I sent the booster to booster Dewey twice for rebuild, but could never get the brakes to release after applying them. I eventually...

    Popping noise after suspension rebuild

I just finished replacing the upper a arm bushings, lower control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints and strut rod bushings. After having an alignment done, there is some popping in the suspension at times. I think it is coming from the strut rods. When I reassembled I tightened the lower...

    Upper a arm bushings

Just rebuilt upper a arms on my 66 barracuda. I noticed a collar on the old rear bushing after I pressed in the new bushing. The new bushings did not have a collar. Is it necessary to have this collar, and where would you get one if needed.

    Lower control arm bushing

I took my lower control arm to a shop for the bushing removal since I do not have a press. Is this the outer shell of the bushing still in the control arm, and needs to be removed, or does the new bushing press into this sleeve?

Strut rod bushing on a 66 A body

I bought Moog K7040 bushing kit as listed for my barracuda from rock auto. The Kit contained 4 bushings, 4 large washers and two small pins. The washers are quite a bit larger than the ones on the car, and I don't think the rear one will fit. I also don't see anywhere the pins would apply...

    Heater hose routing

I just replaced the heater core on my 66 barracuda with the 273V8. A shop bypassed the hose so the car could be driven. Question, does the hose coming from the heater control valve go to the intake manifold or water pump? Does anyone have a picture of the factory routing for the hoses? Thanks
