Timing and Carb adjustment will fix that. Buy a timing light and use the service book for the proper settings. It may take you a couple of times but its easy and will save you money. In California there is no full inspections. We only have emissions testing for 1976 and after vehicles. Anything 1975 or prior is emissions inspection exempt.

Just go to Oreileys and get this cover. They last a while and block the UV well. Ive tested with a UV meter. I have a meter as my nephew is allergic to the sun and UV rays..... But thats a whole different story. Oreileys will honor all manufacture warranties. I have swapped out several covers...
