[FOR SALE] 1972 Plymouth Duster (Gold Duster)

Thank you! It's definitely a cool old car. I don't think you'll have to worry about seeing another one just like it at a car show. 60's impalas have always been one of my favorites!

[FOR SALE] 1972 Plymouth Duster (Gold Duster)

Considering letting my duster go. This car started life as a slant 6. It’s had one respray in the early 2000’s but still it’s original snake skin vinyl top, I’d say it is pretty unique, and looks just as good in person as it does in the pics. I have put a lot of time and money into this car to...

    [WANTED] Drivers side 73+ spindle

Disk brakes, but I think I got it taken care of finally. I was surprised it wasn't an easy party to come by.

    [WANTED] Drivers side 73+ spindle

I was heading home from a car show over the weekend and my wheel bearing went out. Seems it's welded itself to the spindle pretty good, and I'd probably be better off getting another one. I can't seem to find anyone online.

    Magnum 5.9 lifter removal

Thanks, if I come across any issues, I may send you a message. At least I have a couple winter projects to keep me busy.

Thanks for the insight! That’s the news I was hoping to hear!

    Magnum 5.9 lifter removal

I've got a 72 duster with a magnum 360. I'm getting ready to do a cam and lifter swap in the car, upon doing some research, I read a couple threads that said you had to remove the heads to get the lifters out because they were too long to slide out of the valley. The car currently has a Comp Cam...

    Inline Power Steering Pressure Regulator

I appreciate that! Thanks for the help!

    Inline Power Steering Pressure Regulator

I can't find any good instructions on how to do it on the federal pump. That would definitely be the best method if possible

    Inline Power Steering Pressure Regulator

It only works with the saginaw pump though, correct?

    Inline Power Steering Pressure Regulator

I was looking at something similar to this. Heidts PS-101 Adjustable Power Steering Valve

    Inline Power Steering Pressure Regulator

I have actually found a few pressure regulators online. Essentially it does the same thing as the “pump it down” mod
  18. scott2683

    Inline Power Steering Pressure Regulator

I have a federal pump on my duster, and I'd like to lower the power steering pressure. I was wondering if any of you have used an inline pressure regulator? How well did it work? How did you plumb in your pressure hose? Thanks!

    [SOLD] Complete Kelsey Hayes Brakes

I recently swapped my duster over to BBP. So I have for sale a complete KH brake set, included is KH calipers, backing plates, rotors, spindles with lower ball joints, and upper control arms. I even have good brake pads to include. The only thing I would change out is the wheel bearings, they...

Does this 17"/18"setup seem like it will work?

Thanks so much for the response! I definitely appreciate your knowledge. My car isn’t lowered but I don’t want tons of wheel gap either. I’m hoping it clears the fender. I can always trim a little if I have to but I hate to go that route. I have absolutely changed my mind from a 225 up front to...

Does this 17"/18"setup seem like it will work?

Thanks for the info! I think a 235 might be about right. I really just don't think I want to go with a 225
  22. scott2683

Does this 17"/18"setup seem like it will work?

If I'm not mistaken BBP backing plates will widen the track some. I'm running an 8" wheel now with -6mm offset. (15x8 cragar). According to the calculator I'm using I'll have .75" less on the inside and .25" less on the outside. That doesn't take into account the BBP brakes. My last duster I was...

Does this 17"/18"setup seem like it will work?

Thanks for the input! I'm right there with you on the 245/45. I think that's really the best route to go. I'm thinking of running Nitto G2's. They make both sizes, and they seem pretty cheap.

Does this 17"/18"setup seem like it will work?

Thanks for the response! @72bluNblu seems to be the community guru, but I hated to bother him on a topic that's been addressed so many time.

Does this 17"/18"setup seem like it will work?

I've read 17"/18" wheel and tire threads on here until I went crosseyed. I have a 72 duster, it has all stock suspension, KH front disc, 8.75 A body rear. I'm in the process of switching it over to BBP, and I want to go with a 17" wheel. For the front end, I'll be picking up a set of 74 duster...

    Smaller water pump pulley

Thanks everyone for the help! I think I got it taken care of. I got rid of the crappy flex fan that was on there and threw a 6 blade steel fan on it. I took the car out for a quick drive, and then let it idle for about 20 minutes afterwards and it didn't creep up past 180. So I'm hoping I'm in...

    Smaller water pump pulley

You're right, it definitely needs to go at least another 1" toward the radiator. Driving around at a lower RPM, the car runs around 195, on the highway it doesn't move off of 180.
