If you can make brake lines, just make a couple that connect to the MC and run straight back into the top.

[WANTED] 60 - 61 Valiant lower ball joint “arms”.

G’day all. i realise most people probably throw them away, but I was wonder if any9ne had a pair of the old lower ball joint arms, for use with the screw in joint ? Ive got later model lower ball joints, but I’m seeing how authentic I can get the car, and figured I’d chase some of the original...

1962 Valiant Suspension/Brake Swap Options with other A-bodies

G'day mate, Look, I'm in Australia, but we got those cars down here and a lot of guys have done a lot of things to the over the years. I had a 62 for almost 30 years. Here, we call them an S Series Valiant. I now have what you guys call a 61 model.......and R Series. The 1960 and 61 models are...

    1962 Valiant Signet 200

it’s incredible just how many differences there are between the 60/61 cars and the 62’s. ive just finished a 61 after owning a 62 for almost 30 years…..I was gobsmacked. In relation to the original post, that’s a great car to restore. The side profile of the two door models is great.

    1961 / 1962 Valiants at a car show today.

Well.....that's the other thing. People going over there on purely money making exercises. Not just enthusiasts trying to fix their old chariots - cashing in on dirt cheap bits and putting 1000% mark up on them when they return.

    1961 / 1962 Valiants at a car show today.

Mate.....you have to understand that the conversion rate is killing Aussies at the moment. $1 Aus is about 65 cents U.S. But.....things cost about the same. Then there's a 10% tax on the purchase price AND shipping, then there's the new checks for cars that are this old....then there's...

[WANTED] 61 Valiant turn signal arm - WHITE tip

Hi all. Throwing it out there again in case somebody can help. One of the guys is currently looking for me (thanks mate), but in case he hasn't got one I figured I'd keep trying. I'm after a reasonable turn signal arm for a 61 Val - it's the screw in type, and it's got a white tip as opposed...

    1961 / 1962 Valiants at a car show today.

Hi guys, I know they're not real big over there, but down here in Australia 60-62 Vals are a bit of a collector piece. Today in my State we had the All Chrysler day, and I tried my hand at a Facebook video of our cars. Doesn't go for long, but thought some may like it. Peter

    Early A-Bodies

I just stumbled onto this thread......glad I did. You guys should bring your cars to Australia - the A body cars are loved here. I reckon 80% of cars at Chrysler/Mopar events are A bodies. Mainly because that's what we "got" here.

[WANTED] 60 / 61 Valiant turn signal lever

Thanks very much for replying. I’m actually after a white tip one, but the black seems more common. I’m making do with one I doctored up, because my current lever didn’t have a tip at all. I’m doing my best to go original, so if a white one was available - HAPPY DAYS. Thanks again. Peter

[WANTED] 60 / 61 Valiant turn signal lever

G’day guys. If anyone has a spare, I’m after a turn signal lever for my 61 Valiant. Different to the 62, it has a threaded stem. Screw in rather than using a bolt. Unfortunately, I’m in Australia, so I’m hoping someone won’t mind sticking it in an envelope and mailing it to me. In any...

[WANTED] 60-61 Valiant turn signal stem and rear ashtray

Hi guys, still chasing a turn signal stem/arm for 60/61 Plymouth Valiant. It has the screw in end, and a WHITE tip - NOT black. Also, a rear ashtray for behind the front bench seat of a 60/61 Valiant. Different from 62. Thanks, Peter Sydney, Australia.

Speaker grill for ‘62 Dodge Lancer and Valient

Should do, yep. But there’s another place that make a couple that look really authentic. Made of light metal, but really neat. I’ll have to keep looking. Those links were just ones I remembered.

It was actually underneath the metal base (inside), and I could see it was cracked. It looks like it does because I picked it aside with a screwdriver.

    Slant oil filter canister question.

G'day guys, Can anyone give me some info on the old steel oil canisters, like the one fitted to my 61 Valiant. ? I'm keeping the old canister as I'm doing the car original, but inside it there seems to be a thin spacer/gasket at the very bottom which is broken away. Is that gasket absolutely...

60-61 Valiant lower control arm bushes

QUESTION - why the heck doesn't anybody make these ? Of all the stuff they make in rubber bushes and suspenion parts, it's almost like companies have singled out the poor old Vals (and Lancers) in not reproducing these bushes. Anybody know where to get them (without the crazy pricetags on Ebay...
