I stripped my dash to install a replacement dash pad in my 68 Monaco 500, worst job I have ever done. The car came with a cracked dash pad but a replacement was included.

Pour a small amount of fuel into the carburetor and try starting the car.

If it starts using starter fluid then maybe its your fuel pump of fuel filter, are you getting fuel when you open the accelerator?
