I found a real nice one for my Datsun in a V6 Toyota mini-van. Big motor, small radiator, nice ABS shroud on it, Basically just took my measuring tape with me and looked around for the fan motor with the highest amperage rating and a shroud that more or less covered the core.

My 1973 with the 22" Champion aluminum fits the stock clutch fan (definitely not the shroud). It puts the fan blades about 1/2" from the radiator.
