Our GTS convertible was sold new at Northwestern Dodge (Detroit/Ferndale). Last year I picked up an embossed plate from the dealer. Today I found a well used plate frame on e-bay for a little over $100 shipped.

So, a buddy called me this evening about a couple of cars that might be available soon (he's going back in two weeks). First one is a loaded '65 Dart GT convertible (273 two barrel, AC, PS, PB) that is RUSTY. Floors are gone, quarters, etc. Second is a '67 Dart GT hardtop that is missing some...

Given the '65 hi po GT in SoCal for $15,750, if I was in the market for an early A, I'd be heading to Nevada... 1 of 50 D/Dart for $12k. Needs a resto, but this is on my short list of cars I'd be all over if real money dropped in my lap. I wouldn't sell anything I have to own one, etiher...

So, we just recently started shopping for a used motor home. Went to SoCal to look at one this past Saturday. Too many things messed up, not from age or miles, but from rough use. So, we came home and I looked around and found what looked like a great deal on one in Las Vegas (on Craig's List)...

So, every once in a while I wander into ebay and look for license plate frames from one of the two Dodge dealers that sold my wife's 1968 GTS convertible. New from Northwestern Dodge in Ferndale, MI (Detroit) and Van Ness Dodge in SF. Tonight I found this embossed plate that is clearly vintage...

I scored some emblems that I had forgot even existed (440 four barrel) and now need a template for the 383 four barrel emblems (I am assuming that the studs are in the same location) if anybody could help out. Thanks.

Was watching this movie this morning (1972). A young Rip Torn drives a '64-65 Barracuda. There is a glimpse of it early, but he's driving it late and destroys it. Kind of sad, but the stunt driver drove it pretty hard. Didn't get any pics of the screen, though.

Yesterday I got an email from UPS. I have a shipment coming from Legendary. Two boxes, so it's the upholstery for both cars. Should be here next Tuesday. Email I got when I ordered in April said 180 days. Not bad considering... AND, two more weeks of work and then I'll be more retired than I...

Never have been able to free up the frozen adjuster arm on the old Rotunda machine. Haven't given up, but... Today I picked up an old Sun. It's in nice shape, but has the same problem. The adjuster doesn't go up and down, BUT this one looks much easier to soak in something to get it freed up...

Worked a good part of the day with my buddy to get the trunk drops and quarter patches ready to weld. Just a little more work and the car can come home. I'll finish the body between everything else I have going on this year...I love it when a plan comes together...

Decided to check the Legendary prices for interior/top/boot for my '67 Barracuda convertible. Found out that they were having a sale (20% off stuff they make, 5% on anything else) and mostly free shipping over $1,999...So, I checked the prices for interior stuff I need for the GTS convertible...

Finally getting around to doing my son's seats for his '67 Dart. I need some supplies, but not sure if these wires were necessary (they don't come in the Legendary installation kit). They are spaced about an inch apart in the burlap of both the seat bottom and back. They break if you try to open...

Looking for a pulley for a big block with a Federal pump. Saginaw and TRW pulleys will NOT work. First pic is big block (pic stolen from FBBO). Second and third pics are what I presume to be small block. Note the offset on the hub.

In my pile of parts I have Saginaw, Federal, and TRW pumps, all cores except the Federal pump I just went through. As far as I recall the Federal pump came off a big block many years ago. My Saginaw and TRW pumps are probably a mixture of big block, small block, and slant. Now for the problem...

Nice driver quality. Chrome isn't near perfect, but they aren't all pitted or dinged up. All four studs and all four lens screws are intact on each light. $200/offer plus shipping from 93711.

There are '65 Dart GT parts for sale in Hanford, CA (ad is on Facebook - see it on the San Joaquin Valley Mopar page - San Joaquin Valley Mopars Inc.). The owner of the car these were spare to recently passed away. Not sure what is left or what the pricing is, but worth a look.

Got the 440 and four speed installed today with the hydraulic throw out bearing. He's going with the Holley fuel injection and distributor. Worked pretty much all day today, but it felt good to get this part of the job done. My grandson helped as well.

Rechromed driver side boot trim end piece. This goes at the end of the stainless trim near the quarter window. This one is very nice. Unfortunately I do not have a pair. I will also have a pair of rechromed corners for '67-69 Dart convertibles as early as next week and a passenger side 1967 end...

Been far too long since I took automotive classes in college and everything was different back then anyway. Having an issue with my 440. I put my scope on it (unfortunately I need to fix or replace the #1 trigger lead). At one point I had peaks of 20-21kv on all cylinders (from the coil wire)...
