    Bumble Bee Stripe Shelf Life

Local company says 2-3 years shelf life. Think I’ll just get a new one and not risk it. Thanks all!

    Bumble Bee Stripe Shelf Life

I have a bumble bee stripe that's been in a box for about 12 years. What kind of shelf life do those things have? Should a new one be ordered or would it be ok to put that old one on?

    1970 Dart Headliner Sail Panels

Does anyone have photos of the sail panel board that go under the headliner on a 1970 dart? Also does the headliner get glued to those panel boards? Thanks!

Rallye dash thumbwheel radio rear mount?

Is there a rear mount/support for a thumbwheel radio for the rallye dash or is it just the two front ones that attach to the dash frame? It’s for a 1970 Dart Swinger. All that weight seems like it would sit on the ashtray below.

Those all look like they would work well. What are they called?

    Plugging firewall insulation plug/pin holes

I think they would be too long as the Noico is much thinner (about 3/4 of an inch)

    Plugging firewall insulation plug/pin holes

I’m using Noico sounds deadener insulation on the firewall instead of the stock fibreglass & cardboard insulation so I now have the holes in the firewall where the plastic pins would have gone through. Any ideas of what I can use to cover those holes up? It’s for a 1970 dart swinger.

Rear Frame Rail. Can I weld up this hole?

I have some donor rear frame rails (not exactly sure what year car they are from) and wondering if I can weld up the hole that I've marked on the photo as it's needing rust repair on both rails. If it isn't needed for a '70 dart swinger, then I'd sooner close them up then recreate them.

    Play in door latch/striker pin?

For my 1970 dart swinger - Is there supposed to be play in the door latch when the door is closed/engaged in the striker pin? I don't currently have the door gaskets installed and the door sits flush with the quarter panel when I pull the door as if opening it but if I push it closed it gets...

    Scarebird Disc Conversion Caliper Direction

I'm using the celebrity rotors and calipers. It looks like they modified the kit within the last few years, using the previa rotor which allows it to work with the smaller dog dish rims in addition to the rallye wheels.

    Scarebird Disc Conversion Caliper Direction

I'll probably get disc master cylinder and disc proportioning valve. You can alternatively use an adjustable valve in line going to the rear cylinders - so I have read.

    Scarebird Disc Conversion Caliper Direction

I have been in the process of installing the scarebird kit on my '70 dart swinger and am not sure which side of the spindle the caliper is supposed to go on. The old instruction sheet I got (which was from 2007) says for the 10 inch drum set up that the caliper opening is supposed to face the...

New Quarter panel buckling at body line

i tack welded it as best I could. Some warpage occurred so I I'll try to hammer them flat again and hopefully it will resolve the buckling problem.

New Quarter panel buckling at body line

It's pretty difficult to show it in pictures. I tacked it in all over and was finishing up the butt weld seam where the old quarter meets the new one. It just appears that the body line is too weak on these thin replacements.

New Quarter panel buckling at body line

I am welding in my new quarter panel and it's buckling at the middle body line (the line below the gas cap) to the left of the wheel house on the driver side if there is any pressure in the area. I have to pop it back in place or it will stay pushed in. These are the cheaper quarters made of...

    1970 Dart Swinger 340

Over the last few weeks I got the driver side floor pan in, and fitted the driver side wheel house and trunk extension. I wish I could afford to buy new amd panels for the whole car. They fit perfectly.

    Installing subframe connectors on rotisserie

Is it ok to install subframe connectors while my car is on a rotisserie or should I wait until get it back on wheels to install them? I've already put in floor pans and done the rocker and quarter panel on one side while on the rotisserie. The doors still close perfectly so it doesn't seem like...

    Rocker under quarter panel

What's the function of the rocker panel under the quarter panel? Does it provide any structural support? Mine is totally rotten so I had to cut most of it out and am wondering if I should spend the time rebuilding it or if I can just cut the rest of it off. It looks like the original rocker went...

    1970 Dart Swinger 340

I ran a bunch of ground wires on the back of the dash and soldiered on a wire to the circuit board to replace a broken pin. Hopefully it works, otherwise I'll be shelling out 125 for a new board.:banghead:

    1970 Dart Swinger 340

My neighbour runs an upholstery shop out of his garage so he recovered my front seats, and will also do the rears, headliner and carpet install in return for putting new rockers on his cherokee. He said all the wrinkles will come out once they sit in the sun for a while. Seat covers are from...
