Was there a certain year they started stamping build date on the passenger side of the A833? The one I have does not , just the raised forged numbers.

I completed putting this group of 4 speed parts together for a '65 270 Dart .Early Hurst Comp. plus, 23/30 spline A833,small Bell /flywheel,10" clutch. The shifter and trans are smooth. Good luck with your project.

ON my '65 Dart GT I recently sold, I had my pinstripe guy do the steering wheel and console in faux burled wood look. Not a show car, but I liked the look.

Thanks, good to know. The welds are up some on both sides. I will grind them down to level and see what happens. I bought the shifter off Craig's list a while back with a fiberglass hump and shifter bezel. Getting all the parts for a 273 / 4 speed swap into a '65 270 2 dr.

I have an early A Hurst Comp. Plus shifter I need a reverse shift arm. Everything else is in pretty good shape, but the reverse arm has been repaired. I would rather replace it. Looked at Brewers and online, no luck. Any help appreciated.

Any chance to ship them like Fastenal or Greyhound wrapped in trash bags on a pallet. . I plan to rebuild so don't really care if they get surface damage. Chris.

Thanks, I actually have the 1-2 rod, looking for the reverse and the 3-4 or a whole set. Are the B-body or later A-body the same configuration but just a different length? No problem with shortening and threading if that is an option.

Hey Kim. it's inside the park cable housing at rear of the transmission.

1965 GT HP 273/904. Purchased new by a lady in a small town in East Texas. I'm the 2nd owner, past 3 yrs.

Just finished '65 buckets seats for use in a Dodge Truck CSS clone ( '64-67 dodge trucks) with a '63 Polara console. I completely rebuilt them with spring repair, burlap, foam and PUI covers. Wish I had used Legendary covers. Take your time and watch the Legendary video.
