Headers in 65 Dart with 340

TTI were an excellent fit. Their exhaust system was a true bolt in for my Dart. Mine were installed in 2012 and still look great. You will need a clockable starter such as the McRobb.

    Big block cooling question

I guess I just expected better mileage with our reg fuel at $5.30/gal. I get range anxiety with only 150 miles per tank. Does a Barracuda only have a 10 gallon tank? Went to a interprovincial car show with over 500 cars, Lots of Mopar, My 67 notch was only 1 of 2 there. Nice to have something a...

    Big block cooling question

Funny that you replied today. I just returned yesterday from a 660 mile road trip, temp was between 80-85 degrees with mild humidity, double lane hiway so speed varied between 70 - 75mph, 3200 RPM. Car ran excellent and the temp was consistent. It was fine on the around town cruzing as well but...

TTI exhaust, is it worth it??

I installed these TTI’s in 2012. No special care what so ever. Nothing looks new forever. I also used their full 2.5” exhaust with X Pipe. Fit was excellent and a very easy install. I would pay the price again.

I am just finishing up my 383 into a 67 barracuda. I would strongly suggest that you do not use the headman headers. Spend $1000 on the correct ones and you’ll be far ahead in the end . Plan on the Lokar kick down and might as well use their throttle cable as well. Everyone here says this is...

    Which Starters & Shifter Linkage?

Thanks Trailbeast. I ordered this sweet little unit today for my 383 $163 Can. It is for the 1995 and older trucks. Appears to have the + post offset for block clearance. Will let you know if it works when I do my mock-up.

    Which Starters & Shifter Linkage?

Hoping to start the 383 swap later this month.Using the B body headers and the Schumacher mounts, with auto trans. What are the options for the starter? Dakota, Mopar mini?I see 440 source has one available. Trying to keep the costs down$$$. The car has a 6cyl with the factory floor shifter...

    Hp manifolds

Hi, are there some photos on this site showing the process of cutting down the steering column? I am using the headman headers on a 383 with the Borgeson steering joint. What do you recommend for a starter? Thanks Jason

    Big Block Steering Mods

Thanks, That's what I was thinking. Would it be easier to enlarge the universal joint? Did you end up welding it on or pin it? My car was a factory 6cyl, Do I need a V-8 steering link? Thanks for your help.

    Big Block Steering Mods

Thanks, That what I was wondering. I was test fitting it on a 65 shaft. Have you used this joint before?

    Big Block Steering Mods

I am gathering together my parts for my 383 conversion. I have the headman headers and have purchased this steering universal joint . It is the Borgeson .75 x 36 spline by .75 smooth bore. I did a quick test fit on a 65 steering shaft and it seems like the smoth bore will be a little small...
