    69 Cuda Restoration

Still waiting for Instrument specialties to start on my grilles, then once they're done I'm going to have them shoot the header panel/ valance/ hood over for me. I was hoping they were going to be finished this past fall, but as of a few days ago they still have yet to touch them. So this summer...

The Grilles aren't finished yet, but hopefully trying to shoot for Carlisle this year. Thank you, yes I do. I want to have it reproduced and painted though to install. That picture makes it look tight, I redjusted the battery in the tray as well since taking that picture. With the car running...

    No spark issue

Yes the msd is indeed hooked up to the battery directly for its power/ ground (12g wires). The ign turn on lead to the box (16g wire) I am powering with the dark blue wire as it supplies a constant 12v when cranking and on. I have used jumpers from the battery as well to isolate the 12v source...

    No spark issue

I'm running a MSD ready to run Distrib E-curve as well as MSD 6al box and a MSD blaster 2 coil. Everything is wired up 100% per their instructions. I am using the dark blue coil+ wire for my 12v ign source for the box. Have my ballast wiring bypassed. I have checked all my grounds, power leads...

Hotchkis TVS with QA1 lower control arms

After looking at Drewmac's pic and seeing he went through the triangle shaped hole on the bracket, I ended up drilling that out and doing the same.

Hotchkis TVS with QA1 lower control arms

I havent alligned the car yet, and Im raising the torsion bars up a little. with the valance on and the front raised it wont be that low. I've had m3's that were lower than that bar and never once hit or ripped the valance or lip off in 160k miles, i think I will be ok. My stepped ttis are lower...

Hotchkis TVS with QA1 lower control arms

I agree with you, it is low. My header collectors are probably just as low though. If this was an everyday driver, or tracking it with curbing then yes i would be concerned. But lets be honest, going to grab lunch or ice cream, i think Im going to be careful driving it anyways.

Hotchkis TVS with QA1 lower control arms

I moved the brackets up on the k member like you're saying and when I did the bushings were pretty twisted and I didn't like how the sway bar was not neutral. If my k member was out of the car i would of played around with it more and welded it. My k is powder coated already and I didn't feel...

Hotchkis TVS with QA1 lower control arms

Looks like Hotchkis changed the mounts for the clamps, They only have two holes on the side of the brackets now that do not line up with my factory 69' k member's sway bar mounting holes like others have in this thread. They were backordered for a few months so my bar is as new as it gets for...
