Thanks for your response, I have checked the height and compared it side to side. The driver's side tie rod end that attaches to the center-link is significantly closer to the torsion bar than the passenger side. In other words, the center link is not parallel to the ground.

The gear selector on my transmission has been bent, I'd like to return it to stock. Can someone tell me the amount of drop or offset and the center to center length of the lever?

It's been a over a week now but I'm pretty sure that at an open height of 1.233", there was .020" clearance between all the coils. According to the Haynes book I've referenced you need at least .010" between coils. So the stock 318 springs should be good for .454" lift, maybe even a little...

I've heard of people needing to clearance valve covers so they will fit with an aftermarket intake. Do I need to enlarge the notches in OEM stamped steel valve covers so that they will fit with an Edelbrock Performer 318/360 intake manifold?
