    I would tack weld a 1 inch thick piece of steel to the floor above pinion snubber and see how it works 1 3/4 way to much room

    Question about carbs for tunnel rams

    Im running a tunnel ram on 496 with 2/600 holleys. Dyno 619 hp 656 torque. Befor it was rebuilt this time it had 2 600 eddies never had it dynoed but 1/4 mile times 11sec in a Volare 3600 lbs. The motor is going in a 64 dart straight axle gasser willbe ready for spring

    Welcome the f250 would have to be cut. I believe the 8.8 will fit just to move the spring saddles . If you can weld it's an easy job.

    There is no idler arm on a straight axle front end. You have a pitman arm at the steering box,a drag link from it to one of the steering arms,and a tie rod from the L/STEERING ARM TO R/ STEERING ARM.I have used parts for a dodge A100 AXLE
