I had my 64 Dart converted from PB auto to 3/tree. new clutch, the whole deal. The clutch pedal is a long travel -- I can get used to that but still it doesn't start to engage until half way (or more) off the floor, and there is no free play at top. I guess I can get used to shifting this...

I notice front parking lights are not on in 1st position when the rear ones are. But they come on in 2nd position when headlights are on. Was told this was stock wiring pre-66 or 68, altho if true I can't figure out why. Can it be changed so they are on in 1st position?

I am wondering if my variable speed setup is the reason we can't get an intermittment regulator to work as we have in other cars. If it were possible to convert to a 2 speed setup, maybe that would be the fix. At least with the results i get, the variable speed wasn't all that different

Black steering wheel in my '64 Dart is worn (fortunately not cracked)... Is there any way to get it recoated like new. The chances of an unworn, clean one turning up as a part probably not likely. I know the worn colored ones look worse but I am still trying to improve everthing I can.

Are there any aftermarket things you can install to buzz if you leave your headlights on? I guess these were on MoPar staring around 69? or so. But I would like something on my '64 Dart no matter how primitive. I saw on ebay these MoPar buzzers for 70-71 cars.. .adaptable. I am just too used...

Sounds like it would be a big deal then to get intermittent wipers going. I had heard ofa single speed option... like one step up from vacuum operation.... But I remember the 2 set speeds, and but now I am stuck w/ this dopey variable setup.

On that '64 Dart GT parts car I had, even tho it was a GT it came w/o windshield washer and radio! you might expect that on a 170, but this surprised me.
