I know, but an 8.8 is pretty strong for not so much money.

3.90-4.10 are in the future along with an overdrive. I just can't justify doing it soon. My daughter is heading off to college. I have to pay for that first. I also have to get rid of the 8 1/4 rear end. I'll probably end up with an 8.8 out of the wrecking yard. 8 3/4s are just to expensive.

I have a stock 5.9 short block with the ported "R/T" heads from Mopar Performance. I'm running the roller cam from the 380HP motors with crosswind dual plane and FAST EZEFI 2 TBI. The car runs great considering I'm only running with 2.94 gears and a 3 speed.

I believe the magnum uses a 143 tooth flywheel. I purchased a flywheel from Brewers for my 5.9. You may be able to use a crank trigger on the front of the engine. I'm going to use a Megasquirt on mine.
