    Slant six decals

The bee and small 225 decals I had custom made at TNT graphics (http://www.yourtnt.com/index.php) The big 225 and stripes were from performance car graphics (http://www.performancecargraphics.com/)

I need to clarify. The bee and the small slant decal weremade locally--the big 225 and stripes were purchased from a vender.

    Slant six decals

I had a few vinyl decals made for me by a local shop. Very reasonable and I love the look. I'm sure it's "correct" for the vehicle, but I think it dresses the vehicle nicely. Funny. I was it traffic a week ago and a guy pulled up next to me and said he's never seen anyone advertise that they...

    kits available for disc brakes

Mine is a slant six. I guess /6 cars came standard with drums and optioned for discs? I looked at the ABS site and will phone them tomorrow. Seems reasonable--especially if I leave it a /6. I'm learning, but I'm slow.

    kits available for disc brakes

I'm a bit confused. The classic industries site says that it will only fit 68-72 model years. Mine is a 1974. What am I missing here. What was so different AFTER 1972???

    kits available for disc brakes

Thanks people. As I've come to understand, there is really no way to upgrade my car to disc brakes AND retain the 4 inch bolt pattern. Just goes to show that an impatient novice will make very costly mistakes! I have just purchased new Cragar SS wheels and tires that would be useless if I...

Offset pose problem for disc conversion?

I have a 1974 Duster with 10 inch drums up front. This spindle drum setup requires a 3 mm offset on the wheel. I have new wheels and they fit fine. However, now I want to convert to disc brakes. I am leaning toward the Magnum Force kit. Bottom line: will this offset wheel work with the discs???

    kits available for disc brakes

Thanks to all. I guess I need to call some of the companies. Most indicate the kits have larger bolt patterns than mine. I don't want to drill rotors.

    kits available for disc brakes

I have a 1974 Duster with a small bolt pattern (5 on 4") in a slant six car. The 10 inch drums up front do stop the car, but I think I want to invest in disc brakes for the front. I want to retain the lug bolt pattern and my wheels are cragar ss 15 inch front and back. I realize that parts...

1963 Dart convertible, rare and valuable?

I thought I'd seen somewhere here that the 1963 dart is rare and valuable. Is this true? I've found one and it's priced right and in fair shape. Just curious to see if this is plain Jane or more desirable version. Thanks.

    Hood paint problem

I like the blacked out hood on Dusters, so I decided to paint mine. Never painted before. I went to a local paint shop and told them I wanted Satin black. This is what turned out. I was hoping for more of a flatter sheen. This is a single stage paint. Could I carefully use sandpaper on...

    Reputable Mopar Engine Supplier/Builder

Time to start the conversion from /6 to V8. I've been searching the web for a very reputable engine supplier or builder--a bit overwhelming. I don't need a racing engine, just one that will give me a good thrill when I hit the accelerator. I would appreciate any advice on good engine...

Musings: Restoration = Money loss! (ALWAYS)

I hear you brother...you are preaching to the choir. All us baby boomers have driven up the cost of all sorts of stuff from the late 60's and 70's...including Mopar.
