I'm real sorry this had to happen to you. My older brother wreck my cherry 66' Dart GT in the same area right before I got my drivers license. Check your pitman arm. I didn't find out it was bent until I rebuilt the front end years later. I hope they find the A-hole. Best wishes.

I ended up using the Yukon axles for my early A body 8.75 as well as 72 Monaco 11 inch rear backing plates and drums.

I just replaced my pump on the 66' 273 in the Dart and the aft bolt went into oil. The forward bolt did not. Maybe the older LA's did go into oil behind the timing chain cover.

Thread sealer around the bolts might help
