I guess my question is if the 63 and 65 doors are interchangeable?

That B frame "pillar" is also where the rear window slides up and down. It is riveted or spot welded in place. Im wondering if that can be removed and use the doors with glass and rear windows off the 65 GT.

You can see where he banged and welded right in the middle. I guess for distributor clearance. Not a good job regardless.

I am working on fixing the hack job the previous owner did on the firewall. My question is, if Im replacing a good portion of the firewall with new sheetmetal, do i need to brace it to keep it squared? The car is completely gutted , shell only, and sitting on home made caster "legs"...
