    Milodon oil pans

    The one I used with my Milodon pan, I got from bouchillon performance, small amount of tweeking to go around the tti's, works great, looks like a factory stick that has been modified for the correct length. Just had to knock out the block plug on driver side. Not great pic but you get the idea.

    Head and steering column don't get along...

    I elongated the holes on the steering column mount on the firewall, it moved it over about 3/8 or so, you could prolly get a 1/2 or so if you wanted too. Everything still lined up preaty good for me.

    Already have the GMR pickup will not work with a gauge unless you can set it to single cylinder operation, because of how the new hemi's fire. The Auto Meter converter requires you to splice into all 8 of your coil wires.

    I agree with the others if it'll clean up at .040 over do it, Block would be stronger and .040 pistons are easy to get being stock 340 bore.Also give you another posible overbore to .060 over down the road.

    If that's a P1SC unit with the pulley procharger sends out with it,look for around 8 to 10 Lbs. of boost with stock heads on a 360, less with better heads.

    Oil Filters

    I used to use fram a few years ago, I tried a napa gold(Wix) filter 1 day after reading a few posts on here, and my oil presure went up 10lbs. go figure, Needless to say next door neighbor was using fram on his truck got a bad 1 and almost killed his engine.

    I had the same problem on my Duster. What i did to fix it was unstop the drains. I took a coat hander and ran it through the drain holes in the cowl area. Shoulda seen all the crap that was built up in there, probly took 2 hours or so of fishing all the leaves and trash out, then i blew it out...

    340 Overheating Help

    Another thing to check , if your running a vacuum advanced dist. it could be advancing it too much, when i checked mine at cruise it was advancing the timing to like 55 deg., which was making it run hot while cruising. Just a thought. theres an alen head inside there you can turn to set it with.
