    Spark plug clearance Eddy RPM/Proparts?

Close to buying a pair of Eddy RPM Performer 75cc heads for my 9:1 comp 440 Duster w/ Proparts headers from Bob Mazzolini. I`ve heard there may be spark plug clearance issues with this combo. Any opinions/experiences/suggestions? Thanks in advance.....

Any opinions/experiences/observations re: centrifugal or billet style superchargers for low comp 440 RB engines? Looking to ad some power to my `71 Duster with a `74 smog motor.

    Opinions on this radiator/fan setup?

What does the FABO brain trust think about a 22" Griffin universal fit aluminum unit w/ a 16" Flexalite 2,500 elec. fan to cool a modest 440 (cast crank, 9:1 comp, .030 over rebuild; doubt it will ever exceed 500 hp)? If the downflow unit would be insufficient I could spring for the crossflow...

    Griffin Radiators?

Planning to upgrade my stock 22" small block radiator. `71 Duster w/ 9:1 comp 440 .030 over rebuild. Looking at a Griffin 26" Dominator w 2 10" Summit Racing elec. fans. Opinions? Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance to anyone that can give me some 411 on this. Car is a typical 440 `71 Duster implant. `74 low comp externally balanced engine w/ stock cam, stock heads, Holley 750 Dominator 2X pumper, Weiand high-rise intake mnfld, ProParts headers, MSD, 727 RMVB, 8 3/4 rear w/ 3:55 posi, 29...

[FOR SALE] Big Block Headers, Stock Exhaust Manifolds, SS Leaf Springs

:hello2: Have 440 Block Hugger headers, stock manifolds, and SS leaf springs for sale. I`m in eastern New England but will travel reasonable distances to meet. Prefer a cash face-to-face transaction. All from a 440 swap `71 Duster. Want to get rid of these so I will probably go for any...

    Original 71 Duster Seats?

Do these look like original stock Duster seats? If so, what model? BTW I am likely to put these on sale; plan to go with racing seats and no back seat (useless anyway with rollcage). They are in very good condition.

Best way to remove undercarriage coating?

What`s the best way to remove the old crappy undercarriage coating (71 Duster)? Want to clean it up, fix any issues, paint it. Hope to avoid using a heat gun. This car is never driven on wet roads. Thanks for the help in advance.

Winter coming, need advice for this newbie...

Greeting 440 A-Body folks. I`m in MA and with winter coming I have a question. Since I don`t have a climate controlled space for my `71 Duster w/ low comp 440 Torqueflite I`d like to keep the car running (not on the road but enough to keep the motor going and the tires moving). Brad Penn 10w40...

1971 Duster 440 complete guage rewiring or?

Greetings to all Mopar fans; recently bought a `71 Duster project car (runs fine but needs mods) mild 440 w/ Torqueflite, 3:55 posi w/8 3/4" gear, mini-tubed w/ 6 point cage, no rust and new paint. First issue to tackle is the guage/dash mess: has fuel guage, oil pressure, and temp in a cluster...

Balancer Info for 440 Truck Motor

Thanks to Geof, Paul, and Demon Seed for the info. The balancer appears to be the large version and has "use with 440 cast" inscibed on it. It`s not tapered but looks (to me) to be too thick to be the thin steel crank version. After digging up more info on this motor I`m certain that there are...

    440 Truck Engine 1969

Thanks to all who helped with my header/spark plug issue, very helpful. The engine in my `71 Duster is a stock (except for a 750 Holley dominator and aftermarket manifold) externally balanced 440 from a truck. Has an "F" on the plate on the front of the block so I guess it`s 1969 vintage (?)...

Big Block Duster w/2" tube headers: Best solution to avoid burning plugs?

`71 Duster w/BB 440, have 2 in. tube headers to install. Previous car owner had trouble w/ headers burning out the standard length plugs (tubes too close, tight fit in there!) so the stocks are back in. Much thanks for any help here.

Newbie from Southeastern Massachusettes `71 Duster Project

Hello to All, I`m a new member from Boston Metro South area; great to see so many members from my area. I`m a new owner of a 1971 Duster with a 440 Wedge from a truck (externally ballanced ) 1969 vintage, stock except for a Holley 750 Dominator. Mini-tubed w/ a 3:55 posi rear 8 3/4" gear...
