    Birthday

Ethel checked into a motel on her 65th birthday, lonely, a little depressed at her advancing age, so she decided to risk an adventure. She thought, "I'll call one of those men you see advertised in phone books for escorts and sensual massages." She looked through the phone book, found a...

    273 adjustable rockers

Thanks for the input! I'm leaning towards just replacing w/stock stamped steel...[kiss method] specially after thinking about the stresses from rocker arms bending push rods.

    273 adjustable rockers

Hi FABO! I'm getting a single ticking in my valve train since my 318 rebuild. I re-used the stock stamped rocker arms w/new push rods with the comp 268 Hyd. cam. The Stock engine at some point probably was sittin' for a while..[valves stuck?]...some of the push rods were sorta "Z" shaped/bent...

    Anyone running these manifolds?

Yes, i also milled mine <both> sides .250 to assisit in clearing the passenger fender. In addition to a smaller coupler i cut my column tube back for clearance plus installed a bearing at the tube's end. And in paranoid mode, put a shim under driver side motor mount. Fan is still centered in...

    Complement Value

My wife was standing nude, looking in the bedroom mirror. She was not happy with what she saw and said to me, "I feel horrible; I look old, fat and ugly. I really need you to pay me a complement.' I replied, "Your eyesight's damn near perfect." And then the fight started........

Lower control arm strut rod length

Well, i massaged it into optimum straightness!! Also, on a side-by-side comparison..with the bushing stop "knurls" placed side by side on each rod, the '74 Dart rod is longer...the knurls are a greater distance apart than the '65 Cuda by about 1/4" I ordered the bushings for the 65 Thanks...

Lower control arm strut rod length

H Fabo! I'm working on my 65 'Cuda disc brake swap from the '74 Dart parts car this weekend.....I noticed some curve in the lower control arm strut rod & thought about the '74 Dart. Those rods are straight but a tad [~.25"] longer between the bushing stops. Is this difference is acceptable...

    Another Torsion Bar question:

Well, I'm lining up thoughts and parts on my upcoming disc brake swap...and on a "practice" dry run on the 74 Dart parts car, I used a homemade torsion bar removal tool to ascertain to difficulty of removing T bars. Then I got to thinking (if ok on fitment), I would clean/paint those T bars &...

    Another Torsion Bar question:

Both are factory AC cars. I measured the '74 Dart & thought it was ~7/8"...will verify once thoroughness of cleaning is verified. What is the effect of putting a .87 bar in a car that has a .85 bar in it?

    Dating previous owner's disc conversion

For fun and grins, you can endevour to measure your master cylinder bore & when you take your calipers off you can measure the diameter of the piston cups...as a reference of what you have.
