    to make any power thay need porting, alot!!!! and thay need bigger valves as well! thay good head for a mild 318 build driver or a truck... buy time you port and add big valves you can buy the speedmasters...

    only factory cast iron heads with closed chambers are the 85 up 302 heads off 85 up 318s and magnum heads! there were the EQ magnum heads from the land down under every body loved but that changed hands and dont seem as populer last few years! lot of folks get the aluminum speedmaster heads on...

    theres couple mopar intakes out for magnums, couple elderblock, airgaps popular, and few china airgap'ish intakes on ebay and amazon for 140iish bucks and free shipping with prime....of coarse getting LA bolt pattern drilled on magnum heads can be done by any competent machine shop for few bucks....

    run the front cover off that 318 gives you fuel pump mounting, can get adapter from hughs for cam eccentric to drive said fuel pump....

    send the stock cam and get reground cheaper than buying one,its a roller cam and factory lifters and all already there!! theres intakes with magnum bolt pattern on ebay and amazon for cheap! look up hei mods on here, good cheap spark!! you can get there for 2 grand, less if you find a running...

    zero deck the block, shave heads to desired compression with the flat tops! id run a mechanical 650 on a single plan if mostly race,..for street id run a 750 on a airgap! cam and matched converter, street gears 3:55 to 3:91 race 3:91 to 4:88s depending on 1/8th or 1/4!
