I'm gonna use my Torker cause it was on the motor when I got the car and it ran like a violated ape! I figure why change now? If I think its a little doggy, (I doubt it!) I can put the stock manifold that I have on. Thanks everybody. :thumrigh:

    Fluid Choices

Thats why I asked the John Deere thing has me confused as I thought it would be more of just a hydralic thing in the tractor. Our cars use the fluid for both Hydraulics and friction modifying. :?

    Steering conversion question

    8) 9 times out of 10 the coupler is still on the box anyway. Too much hassle to take off or they don't realize that they could sell it separately! :thumrigh: By the way, what IS the differance any way? Never noticed any. Maybe in 72 the power steering used a rubber isolater...

    weird steering

Very easy to fix. You loosen the two bolts that hold the valve on the top of the steering box ( where the hose goes in) just enough so you can tap it lightly forward or back to center it. Don't loosen it to much because it will spew fluid all over if you do it while the engine is running. You...

    Brake Fluid Choices

I,m going to use DOT 5 because I value my paint, and it will just be a weekend car. The silicone doesnt compress, its if its got air in it the silicone is more likely to get aireated so I'l be very careful about the installation of it.

    End PLay adjustment?

Factory bearings are stronger for the street than the green bearings. The green bearings dont like side loads so much (cornering). After you pack them with grease (just like front bearings), all you have to do to set the factory bearings is turn the adjuster in until you just bearly FEEL a...

    A833 is killing me.

If I were you I'd grab a service manual and dig in to find the problem. It's that kind of sh## that started me working on cars myself. Now I trust no one to work on my stuff.
