I have a 1976 /6 in my 1966 Valiant and the oil pump is leaking so we're trying to remove the pump. Got engine on hoist and motor mount removed ... Manual said should be just enough clearance but can't get it the pump out!

1966 Plymouth Valiant with 225 /6 and factory dealer installed a/c. I'm having a temp problem and think this could help. Also, the fan is not in the center of the radiator. Could this be an issue too? Is the fan supposed to be in the center? THANKS!!
