Apparently smaller bore = more pedal travel = pedal closer to the floor on hard application. Seems it's a bit of a balancing act with several influences and repercussions. I'll just start trying and as I said,try a different bore if I'm not happy.

Just pulled the MC out of my challenger and it's actually 1 1/16" bore. The new one I have is 1 1/8" bore. You mentioned with non boosted brakes I should be using 1" bore. Can someone tell me what I SHOULD have in there? I'm happy to purchase the correct part so it's not about trying to...

Car is finished bar sorting out a few bugs. It took TopCustomMopar at our largest annual all makes show a fortnight ago.

The finished product. The car debuted at a small show three hours north of here at the end of May where it took runner up Car Of The Show. Last weekend it was at our largest local show each year where it took the Top Custom Mopar award. The Peak Dash has certainly helped it!!!

This was on US ebay abt 6 years ago and was my inspiration in getting a notch of my own.

195deg thermostat made no real difference. And out of interest,nailing it to 5500rpm in every gear makes no difference. Temp reads stable but hot. Thanks for suggestions. Will try a few tomorrow since it's bed time over this side of the planet.

Radiator had tanks removed,cores rodded through and tanks soldered back on. Not sure about over there but it's a common practice over here.
