I have a 7.3 powerstroke. He better have a ton of work done to it. A tuner ain't gonna cut it. With the HEUI injection he would at best have 500hp and that is with turbo, injectors, fuel system and custom tunes. Not to mention twice as heavy as you are. You should walk the dog on him.

Mine is right around 195-200. It will creep up to about 215 or so and then the fans come on and cool it right back down. This is with the block filled to just above the freeze plugs.

Motor is a 383 and i had the oil pan off of the car. I did not build this motor but if i look up to the bottom of the pistons i can see the numbers 233-99. Does anyone have any info on these pistons? Really curious if they are cast or forged.

I went with a 10pt cage and it came from S&W Racecars. I went with a cage just because i had the whole interior stripped out of the car and didnt want to pull it out again if i wanted to add on to the bar for the cage.
