I need the part that attaches the front of the Duster pop-out quarter glass to the pillar. (Often sold as an early A/B body "door glass channel run.")
Poster "dadsbee" mentioned an older Mylar piece that was bad for its intended use on the back of A/B-body vent windows, but works perfectly on...
I need the Mylar "hinge" assembly that Duster quarter windows open and close on, mine are fairly shot. (And by "fairly," I mean "completely.") I have found exactly one source: DMT, available only as part of a complete quarter window kit, which I do not need. Does anyone sell these separately? I...
I thought I had a Tuff wheel...but now I'm confused. Is this factory, or is this a mishmash of parts? Spokes attach at the back of the rim, rim feels rubberized.
Anyone have any experience with this company? They're in Florida and claim 30 years in business...and the parts seem little different from the $2500+ kits. Anyone done business with Coldmaster?

Ok, this is a weird one. 73 Duster, originally 318/3-speed, no AC. Currently has what looks like a factory shroud, but with a cheezy fixed fan. OE fan is gone. Anyone know what diameter I need? The PN would be awesome-guy locally has several, but...well, Chrysler used A LOT of different fans. I...
73 Duster, 2-speed wipers with foot-pump washer, switch seems to be going bad. Does ANYONE make a direct replacement? I have found a couple of "universal" switches, but was hoping for a direct swap.

Planning to make my Duster a daily driver...currently has a 14" wheel and a very old 185/75 tire. I'm considering grabbing a Jeep donut as a spare (T125/90D16, from base-model XJ Cherokees, about 25"). Anyone done this? I see absolutely no reason this will not work.
Planning a set of used 2.71 gears for my Duster. Can't get them installed until spring.
So...how to best store them? Thin oil coating? Grease?
Sealed museum vault with zero moisture and 100% nitrogen atmosphere? :poke:
Car is a 73 Duster, mild Magnum 360, 833 trans with V8 gears, I think 26" tires. (225/60R15) Currently has 8.25" with 3.55 gears, and...yeah, that's getting old. Does anyone have actual EXPERIENCE with a 4 speed and 2.76 axle gears in a ~3300lb car? How does it drive?

I just bought a Duster. (Insert happy dance here.) It seems to be a stock Magnum long-block with a Holley QF carb on an RPM Air Gap intake, headers, Hughes cam kit with 1418ALN-10 cam and roller rockers, about 9:1 compression, iron Magnum heads. Considering this, will this run on 89 octane? Or...
Near as I can tell, someone installed a set of rear belts in my Duster, so I only have lap belts. :wtf: So, I am looking for OEM front belts-retractor and sash-preferably in black. Shipping would be to RI, if it's too far to pick up.
Looking at a 73 Duster...it has only lap belts. There is no indication there were ever shoulder belts. I thought A bodies got them long before 73. What am I missing?
Title says most of it...late (74-6) Duster, factory A/C car, pretty much everything except the under-dash unit is gone. In a perfect world, I would prefer the factory system...but I know that hunting down everything needed would be very difficult, probably expensive, and take forever. But...will...
So...I'm interested in buying a Duster. It's about 20 minutes outside Milwaukee. I have no reasonable way to get there, but don't want to spend a pile of cash sight unseen on a 50 year old car.
So...anyone in the area want to make a few bucks checking it out with a camera?
The title pretty much is the question: how much squeeze can I run without needing race gas or Avgas? I'm considering a car on eBay, but the engine is a 10:1 360 with J heads done by Indy cylinder head. They have 2.02 / 1.60 valves and 5 angle valve job, ported, polished gasket matched and bowl...
318, 4 speed. BBP discs, 8.75 rear, 391 sure grip. Body fair, worst is the Dutch panel, New one included. New tank & straps, PST front end, New ball joints.
Car is in southern RI, CT border. Delivery is...well, possible.
Sold
Bought a car 3000 miles away. Transportation is a catastrophe, looking like twice the original cost, 15 days and counting, nothing but excuses and BS from the company. Gone from anticipation to dread. Seriously considering writing ot off, telling the guy to keep the car, and giving up.
Found a great deal on a short block...I think. So, I'm asking the people here:
.060 over 360 LA block (80s van)
4" Eagle crank
KB 356 pistons
360 rods
Purple shaft cam
Torker 2 intake
So...good start for a pump gas street machine?
