    a tale of three trans pans....

    Removed the heavy Summit aluminum pan in favor of an old 46RH pan (back). With my Griner T-brake the filter was dang close to the bottom of the pan. The Summit pan was 2.10 depth, the 46RH pan was 2.4, and the one on the right is a 48RE pan which is 3" deep. I'd have gone with the 48, but...

    Fontana test and tunes....

    Not sure why... but I really had the motivation to work on the car yesterday. Mocked up the mounts and spacers, drilled and got the threaded inserts in place. Got the engine sitting in a correct enough position to where most of the header tubes align. Made an appointment with a local header guru...

    Another 70 Valiant to the mix

    I'll be lurking here more often since we are a one car race family now. Our 70 Duster is currently "apart", and waiting for me to spend some time on it. Our low 11 iron head combo is awaiting final install and some header fabrication so we can get out and have some fun until the W8 mill is done...
