65 Dodge Dart Hood Emblem Restoration

I saw an NOS piece sell for $350 last year and I'm kicking myself for not buying it when I had the chance.

I found these amongst my magazines and literature. Does anyone want them? I'm only asking shipping because I can't bring myself to throw them away.

    Parts ID/Does Anyone Need These?

These came in a pile of stuff I bought more than 20 years ago in an all-or-nothing deal. I have no idea what they're from but they were referred as 'Darth Vader drums.' They appear to be 4 on 4, and I have a sneaking suspicion that they're not Chrysler parts.

The springs are sold. Thanks for looking.

    Need New Drums

I am, yes, but I don't know what year the axle is. Since we've narrowed it down, how do I tell the difference? Also, if I wanna replace the hardware inside, I guess I'll need to know which to get. Everything looks okay, but for safety's sake, new cylinders are probably I order. Yes, you're...

    Need New Drums

Okay, so, based on one of the pictures I already posted, this axle has 10" drums. Also, thank you for the excellent info.

    [SOLD] Super Stock Springs

I guess that I didn't remember that the shackles were still on them. Even so, I wouldn't run them as-is. My schedule is pretty tight so I won't have time to take them off until the end of the week. Also note the still wrapped up new leaf springs from Firm Feel.

    Need New Drums

I never claimed that it was original; it's a narrowed B body axle that had done duty in a Barracuda before I bought it sans center section.

    Need New Drums

Hmm, I guess not. There are three variants; 2, 2.5, and 3.

    Need New Drums

Okay, first, am I measuring this correctly? And, provided that I am, am I correct that I need 11" drums?

    [SOLD] Super Stock Springs

I have for sale a pair of super stock springs that I understand were stock on H and M code big block A bodies. The number on both is 2835056. The bushings need to be replaced, as they're dry rotted from being in storage for the last 25 years or so. I originally paid $400 for them and would...

    Radiator Support

Okay, thanks. I ask because Classic Industries offers 22" and 26" radiators, I think, but that shouldn't matter either way, right?

    Just bought a "new" project

I'd fix it up, make it stock-ish looking, and use it for light towing or as a grocery getter.

    Secret second hobbies

When I moved to Colorado, I lived with my aunt, uncle, and two cousins. My uncle worked on the B1-B electronics program on Lowery AFB and there was stuff for that plane everywhere; models, posters, shirts, and that SAC symbol.

This one is actually better, as it's cheaper, comes with a tranny cooler, and has an electric fan. JEGS 511405: Aluminum Radiator & Fan Combo for Select 1965-1966 Mopar A Bodies With Small Block Engines [16 in. Fan] - JEGS

This is what I think I'm gonna go with for my '65 Dart. Has anyone else bought this one? Opinions? My only issue is price; the website price is $200 more than advertised in the catalog. https://www.classicindustries.com/product/ma2253a.html

    Armrests

As far as I can tell, all of the 1963-1966 Darts used the 11" armrests in the front and 10" in the back. Unfortunately, however, the rear pads currently being reproduced for the 10" armrests seem to be only the ones with ashtrays which I neither want nor need. I already have 11" armrests and...
