    Removing Heater Box

Has anyone removed the heater box entirely and replaced it with a simple universal hot rod heater ? I have a factory AC car that I plan on never fixing the AC. Now the heater core is leaking as well. I was thinking something like this just to knock the chill off and defrost the windows...

I have an Edelbrock Streemaster 318 intake, it's a small plenum single plane intake that's supposed to make good tourque. But I've read a lot of guys that say it falls on its face at 4500rpm.

    Another Camshaft Help Thread

Hey Folks, finally got my ride on the road and would like to add a little extra grunt. Unlike most I am not looking for quarter mile full throttle acceleration. My car is built to handle and I'm looking for a strong mid to mid upper range cam to pull through the corners. A soft bottom end isn't...

To trim or not to trim, that is the question.

I don't have all of it, a few pieces that are pretty bent up beyond use but I'm sure replacements could be found.

To trim or not to trim, that is the question.

Howdy Fellas, Finishing up the details on my budget beater daily banger. Some yahoo before me pulled all the trim off except the rear doors. Now I'm at the point of trying to decide if I pull the rear door piece off and fill the holes or put the rest back on. I like the clean look, but also...

    Moving Rear End Back 1"

Thanks for the input fellas. For now I just put a set of perches on with three holes and moved it to the back hole. Left plates and hangers alone. Ubolt angle isn't drastic since I'm using taller perches than stock and 1 1/4 lowering blocks. I like that it left my shock mounting in the factory...

    Moving Rear End Back 1"

Thanks Mike, as far as driveshaft goes I am good there and part of the reason for wanting to move it back is to keep from having to shorten it. After reading those links I am still as confused as before. Seems everybody has their own take on how to do it but spacing the front hanger back is the...

    Moving Rear End Back 1"

So I am planning on moving my rear end back 1" for multiple reasons. I keep reading that guys just drill a new hole in the spring perch and move it back. My question is are you also drilling a new hole in the shock plate ? Or are you just shifting the rear end back and leaving the u bolts at a...

Hello Folks, this is not a new hello but a "I'm back" hello. Been away for a few years, had some financial issues come up and had to sideline cars for a while. It drove me crazy to say the least. That's all better now and I'm back, glad to see the community is still here.

    Homebrew Coilover setups

I was hoping you would chime in. If I go coilover it will be with Denny's new kit or something similar. On another note what issues did you have running 1.12 bars ? I figure they would tear out crossmember sockets, any other issues ?

    Homebrew Coilover setups

I'm going to attempt that this weekend, it's going to be tricky. Previous owner used one of those crossmember repair pieces and stick welded the snot out of the socket onto it. If that doesn't go well then I will resort to a coilover setup.
