So I take this crank pulley and front cover from a 68 273 thinking I could use it on a 69 340 engine. It's a 3V pulley for AC car and has rubber insert around V closest to radiator. Think that's for AC. Anyway, the rubber is soft and cracked. How is this constructed? would it be safe to use? Thanks

Looks like cast 2/27/73 or 2/27/72-difficult to read. Std bore, slight bore ridge, should clean up at .030, maybe .020. Never been rebuilt and no rust in bores. Sludge in lifter valley still present and included for free. Have limited internet so photos are slow to load. Located in Dandridge Tn...
