    Garage lighting suggestions.

I used 100 Watt LED High Bay UFO lights from Amazon. 260.00 bucks for ten of them, in a 30 by 40 14 foot high barn. Have had them up for 2 years with no problems. They are bright enough that I have to be careful to shield my eyes when going in out a full dark winter night. 100W UFO LED High Bay...

1968 Plymouth Barracuda Power Steering Pump?

It is "steerandgear.com". I'm not sure of the part number (maybe 2109?), but they have a parts page that you can skim through to find it.

1968 Plymouth Barracuda Power Steering Pump?

I was able to get a rebuild kit for my TRW pump from Steer and Gear. I bought it within the last year for about $30.00 I think. Everything fit great. It is a pain in the ***, but within the capabilities of any patient mechanic. Do borrow the pulley removal puller from your local O'Reillys or...

    Federal PS pump-it-down mod?

No, That never occured to me before disassembling the pump, but I should have plumbed in a pressure gauge to check before and after. Post #12 gives me hope-I don't know how I skipped over it and assumed they were talking Saginaw, but I did. My pump has a fairly large stack of thin shims, not...

    Federal PS pump-it-down mod?

No, I believe it feels over boosted, especially at highway speeds. Probably was OK with belted tires, but Radials make it feel worse nowadays. Figured that while it is apart I may as well try playing with pressures.

    Federal PS pump-it-down mod?

I'm rebuilding the leaky Federal power steering pump on my 68 Barracuda/318. I figured while I'm in there I would see if I could de-power it like they do on the Saginaw pumps. Does anyone know if changing the shims on the bypass section of the flow control valve will work? Or do I need to attack...

    window crank extensions

They were very popular back in the shag carpet van days. Just saw them on E-Bay for Chevys, but don't know whether that will fit our cars. Google should be able to locate some for you though.

New 14" Cragar SS Wheels with 4 X 5 bolt pattern

I've been running those with a 205/70R14 for about 12 years with no problem. I didn't check backspacing or anything else, Summit said that they would fit and they did. Drum brakes all around on a 68 Barracuda convertible. I did change out the lugs, because the Mag wheels do need that special lug...

    4 barrel 318

The PO had already installed a dual 2 1/4" exhaust, so that part is covered. Since I will have the engine out of the car to repaint the engine compartment sometime soon I think the timing chain would be a better use of my money than the Offenheiser intake. I have no objection to "Old Tech" (at...

    4 barrel 318

Thanks, guys It sounds like I will be sticking with the 340 intake, and a small Edelbrock 4 barrel. I'm surprised to hear that Chrysler Mismatched the ports at the factory, but it sure explains why the Part Numbers don't pan out for the "318 Four Barrels" on E-Bay and such! The old boy runs...

    4 barrel 318

The Topless Fish is a 68 convertible. Bone stock 318 With 90000 miles, automatic transmission. The car is a Saturday Night Drive-in vehicle, slowly being restored and driven about 500 miles per year. I'm looking, in a few years, to do a Coast-to-Coast drive on US-6 and before then would like...
